Strengthening Capacities for Gender Equality and Gender-Sensitive Public Policies

February 11 and 12, UN Eco House in Podgorica - A successful training on gender equality was held, bringing together participants from various sectors with the goal of deepening knowledge and exchanging experiences in this important field. The training was designed to provide theoretical and practical tools for understanding, analyzing, and addressing gender inequalities, empowering individuals and institutions to actively contribute to building a fairer society.

Over several interactive and dynamic sessions, participants had the opportunity to explore the key principles of gender equality, as well as methods for integrating them into decision-making processes, public policy development, and institutional work. Special focus was placed on concrete challenges we face in political representation, economic opportunities, and social structures, as well as strategies for overcoming them.

The training was fully aligned with international standards and best practices, while taking into account the specific legal and institutional frameworks of Montenegro. In addition to lectures by gender equality experts, participants had the opportunity for discussion, idea exchange, and sharing of good practices from the region and beyond.

This training represents another step toward a society where everyone has equal opportunities, regardless of gender. Through this program, participants gained valuable knowledge and tools that will help them actively work on improving gender equality in their communities and organizations. We believe that the experiences gained will be transformed into concrete actions and initiatives that will contribute to positive changes in society.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this event. Together, we will continue to build a more inclusive and just future for all!
